About Us

From its inception Good Samaritan Christian Center has stood on the platform of the Word of God as the mandate for its operation. Reaching out to multitudes through its multiple ministries, we have impacted the lives of the homeless, substance abusers, and those classified by the scriptures as "the least among us." Through the message of love and hope, people from varied backgrounds and ethnicity have responded to the truth that "though you may be guilty of doing what they said you did, that does not determine your future. God has a better plan for your future."

Almost thirty years ago God called Richard Ramirez and placed in him a passion for people. His life's experience and maturity in the Word heralds a message to the hearer to move into the mainstream of God's purpose for his / her life - to abdicate religion and instead adopt a relationship with the Living God, through Jesus Christ. At Good Samaritan Christian Center the great commandment and the great commission are practiced inseparably, resulting in transformed lives.

We are committed to addressing lives through our urban outreach programs in prisons, shelters, and recovery programs. Community development and market place interaction are a viable part of our future endeavors and will no doubt reflect success. Our twenty-four hour accessibility via phone and internet makes it possible to address needs whenever or wherever they may arise.
